Roxi is a 1 yr old girl, . She is great in the house, needs some obedience training. Has a tendency to jump on you and is a bit mouthy, training definitely needed. What a sweet, loveable, energetic girl though. Loves to play with other dogs.

Kodi is a 5 year old Malinois. He is an owner surrender who flunked out of the Washington State Patrol, 4 years ago, for being too playful. He is used to living on a farm with 5 acres. His owner became ill and had to move in to town. He does go stir crazy when kenneled too much. He is very people friendly and good with other dogs. Not sure about cats.

Kane is here, he is great in the house, but not left unattended, since he is still a puppy...He needs to be in a crate when you are not home, till he learns some manners. He is a big brute weighing in at 95 pounds already. Kane rides great in the car once you get moving, he does need to learn some obedience and manners. A very playful guy, he sniffed my barn cat, and was interested, but didn't try to take a bite, so I think he would be able to be trained not to chase them. He seems to like everyone, and he was turned out in a yard with multiple dogs...

Jacob is a great dark sable boy, he is great with cats, chickens, other dogs and kids. Jacob also loves to play ball and will return it. He is very athletic, and can climb a 6 foot fence, so care must be taken not to leave him unless in a wire metal crate where he feels safe. He was kept in a crate most of his young years, so that is his security blanket. He loves to be with you, kind of a velcro dog, and is wonferfully obedience trained. Jacob is housebroke and rides great in the truck, he seems to like everybody but will guard his truck. Inside of course. Jacob could do agility or tracking, he has a great nose on him, and as heavy boned as he is very athletic.Jacob will be 5 yrs old in July.

This poor gal was hours from delivering her litter of pups, the darn shelter, went and aborted her pups, just hours from being born, because of their policy of spay/neuter before being adopted, you would think that they would at least allow the pups to be born or have a spay/contract after she weaned her pups. So now she is in mourning, but doing fairly well, she is young, maybe 1 1 /2 yrs old. She wants to please and is a totally sweet natured girl. Lacey, is a very gentle soul, it will take her time to get to know you, but once she does, she is yours. What a sweetheart! I couldn't even entice her up on the couch, great manners in the house!

Luna is a very sweet 1 yr old girl, she is abit on the chiunky side right now, needing someone that wants a jogging partner!! Before Luna came to use, she was literally covered in ticks, so many, that she had 2 tick baths and frontline applied. Luna is a wonderful energetic pup, a bit mouthy, so an experienced GSD owner is required, it won't take much, because she is so willing to please, Luna loves Tacoma, as they came together on the transport from California.

Loki is a big and beautiful 3 yr old guy, weighing in at 130 pounds, he may need to lose some weight;-). His elderly owner sadly passed away unexpectedly, and Loki is in mourning. He is presently in a foster home coming this weekend to MT. Loki lived with a male, declawed, kitty. Loki licked the kitty in the face when the kitty hissed at him. They comforted each other during thunder storms. So got along. Loki is getting along with the 12yr old son of the foster lady, who is keeping Loki in her home, but Loki knows them from past kenneling. Loki is housebroke, neutered, UTD on shots and will be microchipped before he leaves.

Howler looks like he was a show dog at one time, he has the look and conformation for it!! Hew has had major obedience training also. He knows his commands very well. Silver is here and what a great girl. When I brought her into the house, she sat down and wrapped her paws around my arms to get me closer, and she gives great kisses, what a kind hearted girl. She loves to watch TV too!!! Silver is a bit shy to strangers, but she warmed up to me immediately. She will require a fenced yard, even though she lived on a farm, her sight is limited, so she could get hurt out on her own. Silver is good with cats, horses and goats. She is good with dogs when introduced carefully and gets to know them. Great with kids, but I wouldn't suggest toddlers, just because of startling her. She has a degenerative eye problem, has blurred vision but can see shadows during the day, night time is hard on her.

We removed the plate in Cream Puff's leg yesterday, and about 1 1/2 inches of bone to see if there is infection in the bone also. The plate was cut off, so that may have been what was causing the problems, it was jagged and sharp, we are having it cultured so will no more in a week if it works. Cream Puff is going to have to go into surgery to remove the plate they left in her amputated leg, and is now infected. Depending on the condition of the femur bone, we may have to remove that also. So any pledges for her surgery would be greatly appreciated...Cream Puff is the sweetest girl. She is so proud and regal for all she has been through, she lived out in the country, in 2007 she was hit by a car & had a plate put in her leg & had surgery to repair her bladder. She was then shot in the same leg, the gun shot wound would not heal, so the leg was amputated. Later she got her right front foot caught in an animal trap, she got frost bite & lost two of her toes. After that, the family brought her inside when it was below 20 degrees. She was also bred, but we don't know how many times. Poor girl has had it rough. She is very sweet & deserves a taste of the good life! Her history says she lived with other dogs & that she has been around dogs both small & large, also cats & has been fine. She did get attacked once by a large dog - not sure if it was the another dog in the home or not. Puff is almost 8 yrs old. Can't someone find it in their hearts to give this girl a better life???

WOW, what an awesome dog this guy is, and what a sad story, he was originally trained in an inmate prison program. He did very well, learned all his obedience, loved agility, learned a bunch of tricks, then went to his forever home and spent the next 3 years, ugh, in a very small crate, that he could hardly turn around in!!!! Oh sometimes I really HATE people. He was slightly abused, but you would never know it, he still trusts humans, why? I don't know!!! There were about 25 hoarding cats, teasing him through his crate, so he doesn't like cats, he used to like other dogs, before this lady adopted him. Introduced carefully he still wants to play.
He does seem to want to play.. I set him free in my back yard and he ran and ran...he is such a clown. Some of the tricks he was taught and I tried them they still work, are done with hand signals...he says "hello"-shake, sit, down, come, bang- you're dead, okay- you're alive, high 5, high 10, sit pretty, take a bow, and crawl. He heeled wonderfully weaving in and out of pylons, and they also did a wagon wheel pattern. All of his handlers loved him!!! His last one, said he was "such a cool dog, very sweet and even tempered!!!"
The Duke, loves to play fetch and usually brings it right to you, he loves his baths, and scrubbing...The Duke is almost 5 yrs old, with lots of love to give someone. He is great in the house and is a no problem dog. He is on a diet, needs to lose about 10 pounds at least and gain some muscle tone.

What a great guy this is, and what a goofy one too!!! He is about 1 1/2 yrs old. Loves attention, great in the house, a bit kennel and crate reactive till he gets to know you, so no kids advised. He was a bit fearful when he first got here, but is great with his kisses, and wants so badly to play with the other dogs. He is said to be great with cats also. A tall and lanky guy, will be gorgeous once he grows up and fills out. He is great on lead, great recall, and loves to explore the yard, he does feel safer in his crate, right now, he just needs a little TLC, to help him out of his shell.

Molly is a shy but lovable German Shepherd. She is 3 years old, fully vaccinated, spayed and very healthy. She is wonderful with kids, great with big groups of people, and loves to be your shadow and cuddle by your legs when you sit. Molly is crate trained and knows the basic commands (sit, stay, lay down) as well as a few simple tricks. She hasn’t lived with other animals since she was a small puppy, but has socialized with both other cats and dogs, with mixed results. As a puppy she lived in a house with 3 other dogs and was fine. Since then, she got along great with a cat that had lived with other dogs, but then had a hard time with a cat that had never been around dogs before. She is timid but loves attention as soon as you call her over. More photos and this girl is coming after Christmas.

Ruby is a sweet 1 1/2 yr old girl. She is great with toddlers and kids. Ruby will chase cats outside, but not hurt them, inside she carries the baby kittens around in her mouth and licks them. She does not chase horses, but sometimes just gets too close and has been kicked by them. Ruby is a very loyal dog, she is super smart and trains easily, she comes when called, sits, lays down and heels. She loves to go for walks on lead, and is very obedient. She is not trustworthy to leave alone in the house yet, she is usually crated. She does like to steal food off the counters and get into the garbage. However, she does NOT chew the furniture, so just a little maturing is in order. Ruby loves to play fetch, and runs with the kids. Ruby is spayed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. Ruby has been dog reactive and we are working on that, so maybe a home without other dogs or someone that is able to work with her on that issue.

Seems she was let go and not supervised. Mia loves to give kisses and is totally housebroke, she is presently playing with a Corgi. Mia is an escape artist, and can open gates and climb fences, so a secure yard is a must.

Recon is a beautiful 4 yr old guy. Recon loves to swim and his passion is playing fetch, with balls or frisbees. He really is a gentle soul dog and will stay right with you at all times...only leaving to play fetch. He will sit and shake hands on command and lay down with firmer voice command. He is fully house, leash and crate trained and minds extremely well. Only voice commands are needed to have Recon do anything required. Physical discipline is not needed at all. Even though we have a big fenced yard he prefers to be wherever we are especially if we play fetch with him. Recon is on a glucosamine supplement with his meals, to aid his comfort from all his continuous aggressive ball fetching behavior. He's really loyal to his people.

Obi is good w/ little dogs. The family had a chihuahua that was actually the one in charge, it was quite interesting and funny. But he's friendly with the neighborhood dogs if that gives you an idea on his disposition and super great with the kids, neighborhood kids and quite playful. He just wants love and attention and he's truly intelligent. Obi loves to swim and play fetch, hee is great in the house, he loves his pillow, which he still sucks on at night. Such a baby!!! LOL....He weighs in at 99 pounds, so he is very large and is 5 yrs old. He will eat bunny rabbits and cats though...he also doesn't do well with horses, he has too much prey drive. Obi, does need a refresher course in obedience, he does need a prong collar to walk him, as he is very strong...if he sees a cat, he will take off, so needs some work.

WOW, what a sweet girl this one is...she is about 3 yrs old, is great with kids, and other dogs...her owners had to surrender her because they had too many stairs for this girl to go down, she fell down them once..She does have Pannus,, which is controlled by eye drops, I have about a 6 month supply that will come with her. They have not been put in for awhile, so they are cloudy, but in only a couple days are starting to clear up already. Jayda loved their kids, and loves everyone she meets, however, when some strange men came to their home, she warned them away, found out there were some burglaries in the neighborhood, but not their home. So I would say she has a great sense of protectiveness...she sleeps next to the bed, not allowed on the furniture, but when one of the kids were sick and sleeping on the couch, she would stay by the sick child instead. This is one very special girl!!!! She will be required to be in a fenced yard for sure...

These littermates are in Billings, MT. Please can someone give them a home? Their owner suddenly passed away last week. They are at a vet clinic, waiting for their forever home. About 3 yrs old. Chloe is the smaller one Female Spayed, Trapper is the taller one Male Neutered. Not sure about kids. Other dogs they are ok with. But haven't just had them loose with other dogs. Chloe is the one thats a little bit more fearful of NEW or Different people. Where Trapper is a happy go lucky dog! But with someone they are use to they are such happy dogs. And they would be perfect I think with either a single person or a couple. I just dont know about kids. Hope we can find a home soon!!

Beare is an all black 10 month old GSD boy, he has no training and is very energetic. He presently lives with 4 kids, but is overly rambunctious, so will need some obedience training. Beare is arriving next week, so more will be known about him then. He has been tied in the back yard.

My name is Mr. Buddy. I am an amazing 8 month old German Shepherd. I have recently been neutered and I am up to
date on all my vaccinations. I weight 73lbs and am gaining. I love to play and love being around people. I am still
working on generalizing my relaxation around other dogs but love to play after I can sniff a few times!
I am good around children and cats but will try and play with them. My mom ended up having a career change
and is working full time now and will be moving to a city in the near future. She thinks I deserve a better
home then she can provide. Please fill out our online application.

Tila is a sweet and mellow 8 yr old GSD mix, female. She was found as a stray with Timber, a 6 yr old male, GSD/Yellow Lab mix who is also very mellow and calm. They would really like a home together, where they can be someone's wonderful and special pets. Will separate if you really can't take them both. We are crossposting for the Weber County Shelter in Utah. Please email me for their email info or contact them directly. Adoption Specialist, Laura Jolley, 801-778-6440

Annie is a 7 1/2 year old, spayed, sweet, gentle, purebred German shepherd dog. Annie has been with one family her entire life, but recently her family’s living situation has changed. Annie used to live out in the country and her family was home with her every day. Now they have moved to a house in town with a small backyard and everyone is gone to work and school, so Annie spends her days alone. Annie knows some basic obedience and is crate trained. She is great with children and is good with other dogs, even small ones. She has been around cats and is okay unless they run…then she will chase. Annie rides well in the car, although she hasn’t traveled very much in her life. This is an affectionate dog that likes to give lean into you. She is a little overweight at this time, so she will need regular exercise in her new home. Looking for a devoted companion dog? This could be your girl! I... see her info here, http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/22709443 PLEASE CONTACT IDAWG FOR INFORMATION ON ADOPTING THIS SWEET GIRL.
