Springer is coming out of her shell, she is playing with Shad in one of the doggy yards, and is learning that all my dogs won't hurt her. She is trying hard!!!! What a sweet, scared girl, Springer, is. She will be 1 yr old on January 11, 2012. Unfortunately she was sold to some people as an incredulous 3 1/2 weeks old puppy, WAY TOO YOUNG TO BE TAKEN FROM HER MOTHER. So needless to say, she missed alot of socialization, with other dogs and people. I have had her only one day now, and she is resting her head on my shoulder while driving, checking out all the pack here at MT GSD Rescue, not too badly either. She backs off, when scared, but recovers quickly, so there is hope for her. She is great on leash with supervision when scared. We are working on all her social skills, she is afraid of all my dogs, chickens, cats and horses. But learning fast. She knows sit, down and shake so far. She is one smart cookie and anyone that has lots of time and patience on their hands will have a wonderful, loyal companion, once she comes around. An experienced GSD owner only need apply. She will NOT be adopted to anyone with young children. She needs lots of care and special time to adjust with the right person. Are you that person???
